Terms of Service - Bond Clean Lawn Xtreme
These are the plain English terms of agreement between ‘You’ the client and Mychelle Hayden, the ‘Owner’ of the business that trades as ‘Bond Clean Lawn Xtreme’. These terms apply for all services provided within the jurisdiction of Queensland and comprise the entirety of our agreement. This means no verbal or other written representation made by anyone or written outside these terms may form any part of the agreement between us.
About Bond Clean Lawn Xtreme
Bond Clean Lawn Xtreme is a professional cleaning service located in Meringandan West and owned by Mychelle Hayden. We are ABN & GST Registered, fully insured and hold all required liability and Workcover insurance policies.
Liability
Bond Clean Lawn Xtreme agrees to provide services stated in this contract in a reliable and trustworthy manner. In consideration of these services and as an express condition thereof, the client expressly waives any and all claims against Bond Clean Lawn Xtreme unless arising from a breach of legislation or from clearly foreseeable negligence on the part of Bond Clean Lawn Xtreme.
Communication
We use a scheduling app to schedule all bookings and to send SMS alerts to you such as booking confirmations, booking reminders, if a cleaner will be late, and payment links for invoices. Fixed Price Service Packages
Before making a booking with Bond Clean Lawn Xtreme, you’ll be provided with details and pricing of our cleaning package for what you’d like done. The Fixed Price Package forms a part of these Terms of Service between you and Bond Clean Lawn Xtreme.
The Fixed Price Package:
Sets out all the cleaning duties that we will provide for you
Provides an estimated start date and time frame to complete the job
Sets out the price for the cleaning job
Sets out the terms of payment regulated in clause 8 and 9 below
A Fixed Price Package will be quoted for every service, whether it is recurrent or a single service job. In some cases where we cannot quote a Fixed Price Package, we will quote an hourly rate instead.
Our cleaning service fees are subject to change if the condition of your home or the scope of work changes. In this event Bond Clean Lawn Xtreme will contact you and advise an amended cost.
Our Bond Return Guarantee - Bond Cleans
If your Property Manager raises any cleaning issues within 5 business days after our bond clean completion date, we’ll return and fix them for free. This guarantee gives you full confidence and complete peace of mind that we’ll have your back.
Supply of Cleaning Equipment and Products
Bond Clean Lawn Xtreme provides all equipment and cleaning products and these are included in our service fees.
Payment of Services
The Bond Clean Lawn Xtreme team is committed to working hard for you and providing the best possible service. In return Bond Clean Lawn Xtreme asks that you meet your payment obligations promptly.
The following payment terms apply for all services:
We prefer payment for our completed services via Online Bank Transfer by 5:00pm on the day the service is completed, with your bank transfer payment receipt emailed to bondcleanlawnxtreme@gmail.com
For Bond Cleans and other large projects, if your Invoice remains unpaid before the work commences, we reserve the right to pause your booking until full payment is made. We also reserve the right to cancel your booking entirely, if payment is late.
Bond Clean Lawn Xtreme has sole discretion to determine whether a service is completed and will communicate this to you verbally via a team member or by email, or text.
Late Payment
By being clear on our payment terms to help you pay us on time, we do not anticipate any late payments, however in the event of a declined card payment or a failed Online Bank Transfer, a late payment fee of $10.00 will be added to your invoice for each day payment is not received.
If your invoice remains unpaid for 7 days, then we may refer your invoice to a debt collection agency or commence legal action to recover the debt.
To avoid these legally enforceable provisions, please contact Bond Clean Lawn Xtreme as soon as you become aware that you cannot meet the payment deadline. Open and honest communication always works best.
No Refunds or Credits
Because we have a Written Guarantee Policy in place that guarantees our work, we do not offer refunds or credits.
Hidden Exceptions and Additional Costs
Occasionally when our team starts work they discover hidden issues not identified within the original quote provided. Typically these issues arise from excessive oil buildup on kitchen walls, damage to surfaces that require repair before they can be cleaned, damaged, badly worn or stained carpets, mould in air conditioning units and chattels or fittings requiring repair or restoration. Any of these matters may alter the quote price during the job. In this event Bond Clean Lawn Xtreme will contact you and advise an amended cost.
Scope of Work
Upon making a booking with Bond Clean Lawn Xtreme, you’ll need to tell us information so we can complete your clean to ensure we are both clear on the nature of scope of work to be done. This includes:
The type of Job (bond clean, one-off clean, rental inspection clean, lawn services, etc)
The location of the Job (Job Location);
Details of access to the Job Location (including key access details such as alarm codes, lock box codes etc.);
Details of any person/s that will be present at the Job Location for the duration of the Job (if applicable);
Your preferred and/or required date/s and time/s when the Job must be completed;
Any other information that would reasonably be considered as relevant to the Job (i.e. if pets will be present at the Job Location, etc).
Additional services need to be requested in advance so we can schedule the additional time and supplies needed.
Booking Times - General House Cleans
Business and visiting hours fall between the hours of 9:00am and 4:00pm Monday to Friday. Services are usually commenced and completed during this timeframe.
We cannot always guarantee to be at a cleaning job at the allocated time due to unforeseen circumstances or delays with prior jobs. If you will be home while we clean, we can offer a timeslot & will be there as close as we can to your booking arrival time, within a 1 hour window. We will send you an SMS notification when we’re on the way so you know when to expect us. If you will not be home while we clean, booking arrival time slots are generally 9am-12pm or 12pm-3pm.
Upon special request, we are able to offer an allocated arrival time for limited morning appointments (with a variance of up to 15 mins either side to allow for sufficient time including travel, between bookings).
Bond Clean Lawn Xtreme does not do public holiday or weekend visits. If your scheduled day falls on a public holiday, Bond Clean Lawn Xtreme will organise a reschedule for as soon as practical.
Cancellations/Rescheduling Appointments
Cancelling or rescheduling cleans with late or very little notice does not allow us to fill your spot. However we understand that schedules can change and we’re always happy to reschedule a booking free of charge, however if you need to cancel your booking, please provide us with at least 3 days notice. This gives us an opportunity to fill that spot and keep our employees working a full schedule.
If you need to cancel or reschedule your booking with less than 3 days notice, a fee of 50% of the charges for that service will be charged. If you need to cancel or reschedule your booking with less than 24 hours notice, the full cleaning fee is payable (unless an exceptional circumstance approved by management).
Access To Your Home
Please ensure that your home is accessible to our cleaning team. If you are not at home when we come to clean, please arrange access to your home by either giving us a spare key (that we will keep securely) or by leaving a spare hidden key on your property, a lock box, door code, etc.
If our cleaning teams are unable to access your home or if our team is turned away when they arrive (for any reason), a Lock Out Fee of 50% of the fee for services booked that would have been performed will be charged. We will make several attempts to contact you and will allow 15 minutes to be given access
Bond Clean Lawn Xtreme prefers that alarms are kept off for the day of cleaning. If it must be on and the alarm is triggered, Bond Clean Lawn Xtreme is not responsible for any fees associated with alarms.
Pets
We love pets and want to make sure they are safe while we are at your home. Please let us know if you have any special instructions for your pets, e.g. make sure doors are always closed, if your pet is scared, anxious or may bite, so we know what to expect. Whilst we dearly do love pets it is highly preferred that where possible pets are secured wherever possible whilst we are cleaning your home for our safety and OH&S.
Pet Hair
If your home has excessive pet hair we cannot guarantee that all hair will be removed. Whilst we use a turbo vacuum head for this hair, fibres can be trapped within or on top of the carpet. We vacuum the carpet, but we don’t deep clean it, so deeply embedded pet hair may remain on the carpet.
Photos
Bond Clean Lawn Xtreme may take photos within your property as proof of services or for training or marketing purposes. To ensure your privacy and confidentiality, we won’t use photos with any identifiable feature of your personal information, family photos or the address of your home.
Window Coverings
We generally do not clean non-standard window coverings such as fabric curtains, fabric vertical blinds, roman blinds, roller blinds and other types of blinds. For Bond Cleans, we include the cleaning of venetian blinds and timber blinds (unless they are broken) and will specify in our Fixed Price Bond Clean Quote what will and won’t be included.
Limitation On Damage
Whilst great care is taken to ensure nothing in your home is damaged, unfortunately sometimes damage does occur. Bond Clean Lawn Xtreme and each individual team member are exempted from any liability and indemnified by you for all such damage done in the ordinary course of cleaning your premises.
Every effort is made to be as careful as possible with your items, however, accidents do happen. In the event of any damages occurring we will contact you immediately or within 24 hours of breakage/loss of any personal items. Items which are antique, irreplaceable, hard to find, etc. are not covered by our breakage policy, so please remove these items the day of your cleaning.
Bond Clean Lawn Xtreme is not responsible for damage incurred by the improper installation of any object. All surfaces are assumed sealed. If you know of any surface not sealed, you must notify us so that we may clean properly.
Limitation On Handling Certain Items
Health and safety legislation forbids any team member to handle soiled sanitary items, vomit, faeces (beyond dirty toilet bowls), used condoms, used needles or any human tissue. If such items are discovered during our cleaning visit, our team will stop the service, advise you and assist you to remedy the problem. Bond Clean Lawn Xtreme may need to vary the price to compensate for lost time or costs associated with additional work.
Health & Safety
If we are sick with ANY contagious illness we will advise you at our earliest convenience and wherever possible subject to availability, will reschedule your clean for as early as possible.
If you or anyone within your home is sick with ANY contagious illness including but not limited to colds, flu’s, viruses, infectious diseases please cancel/reschedule your clean.
For safety reasons and to comply with regulations, our cleaners are prohibited from using ladders other than company provided ladders. To comply with our insurance terms, we need to leave our shoes on while we clean. If you are concerned that our shoes may soil your home, we can use protective footwear covers. We do not move items more than 15 kilos to protect individual team members from injury. If you would like us to clean behind heavy objects, please move them prior to our arrival.
Termination of Services
Bond Clean Lawn Xtreme reserves the right to deny service or terminate service because of safety concerns, hygiene concerns, financial concerns, or inappropriate or uncomfortable situations.
